The Shelly Wave Dimmer is a smart Z‑Wave dimming controller that lets you take full control of your lighting from anywhere. Designed to work with or without a neutral wire, it adds advanced dimming capabilities to your existing lighting setup without the need for extensive rewiring. Once connected to a Z‑Wave gateway (hub), it allows you to control and automate your dimmable lights via your phone, tablet, PC, or home automation platform.
Powered by the latest Z‑Wave 800 series technology, the Shelly Wave Dimmer delivers ultra-low power consumption, robust security with AES‑128 encryption, and exceptional wireless performance. It supports both Z‑Wave mesh and Z‑Wave Long Range topologies, with ZWLR offering a range of over 1 km (line of sight). When operating on a mesh network, the device functions as a repeater, extending coverage for other Z‑Wave devices.
This smart dimmer can handle up to 200W of dimmable lighting and provides accurate power metering for voltage, power, energy, and current. It includes over‑current, over‑voltage, and overheating protection for added safety. Built-in SmartStart ensures quick and automatic setup, while over‑the‑air firmware updates keep the device always up to date.
With or without a neutral line, the Shelly Wave Dimmer lets you fine-tune lighting exactly as you like. Features such as custom min/max brightness, smooth fade-in/out, button or dual-button dimming control, and calibration provide a tailored lighting experience. Night mode ensures soft, gentle lighting during specific hours, ideal for calm evenings or late-night movements around the house.
