The Shelly Pro LoRa Add-on extends supported Shelly Pro devices with long-range LoRa communication, enabling reliable automation and monitoring over distances of up to 5 km. Designed for large properties, industrial sites, agricultural installations, and remote facilities, it provides dependable communication where WiFi, Ethernet, or traditional wireless technologies may struggle. By attaching directly to compatible Shelly Pro devices, it creates a secure and efficient long-range communication link without requiring additional gateways or complex networking infrastructure.
Built around low-power LoRa technology, the add-on maintains stable communication even in challenging environments with obstacles, metal structures, or widely separated installations. The external SMA antenna connector allows the included antenna to be relocated outside electrical cabinets or upgraded to higher-gain antennas for even greater coverage. Built-in AES-CCM encryption ensures secure communication, while support for custom scripting allows the system to be tailored to specific industrial, agricultural, commercial, or municipal applications.

* Shelly LoRa Add-on is not a standalone device and must be connected to a compatible Shelly Pro device for power and operation. Compatible devices: Shelly Pro RGBWW PM, Pro 1/2, Pro 1PM/2PM, Pro Dimmer 1PM/2PM, Pro EM-50, Pro 3EM, Pro Dimmer 0/1–10V PM. At least two Shelly LoRa Add-on devices (two Pro, or one Pro + one LoRa Add-on) are required to enable LoRa transmission and reception.
