The Shelly EM Gen4 is a next-generation smart energy meter that gives you precise, real-time insight into your electricity consumption, while enabling intelligent control of high-power appliances. Designed for single-phase installations, it supports up to two current transformers for contactless energy monitoring across two independent channels, making it ideal for tracking individual circuits or appliances. With built-in WiFi 6, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Matter support, it integrates seamlessly into virtually any smart home or automation platform without compromising on performance or flexibility.
Powered by Shelly's latest hardware with 16 MB of flash memory, the EM Gen4 stores at least 30 days of detailed 1-minute energy data directly on the device, ensuring you always have access to historical consumption records even without cloud connectivity. It also features a built-in dry contact relay for controlling external contactors, allowing you to automate high-power loads such as water heaters, heat pumps, EV chargers, or other heavy electrical equipment based on schedules, energy usage, or custom automation rules.

Shelly EM Gen4 can connect directly to any WiFi network, with no HUB required, and can operate as an Access Point.
Add devices quickly and easily to the Shelly Cloud app, using the Bluetooth connection. Use as a Bluetooth proxy for other BLE devices.
Data logs are stored on the device for up to 30 days in 1-minute intervals. When connected to the cloud, data logs are stored for 365 days.
Shelly EM Gen4 has an integrated 2A 230V 50/60Hz relay output for contactor control.
