WiFi-operated energy meter with contactor control

Shelly EM Gen3 is a small form factor smart energy meter using up to 2 current transformers (contactless metering), which allows energy metering the consumption of electric appliances and reporting to a mobile phone, tablet, PC, or home automation system. It can work standalone in a local Wi-Fi network or it can also be operated through cloud home automation services. The Device has internal storage for data allowing for later retrieval. The Device has a single dry contact switch for controlling external loads.

• Remote Monitoring: Shelly EM Gen3 supports publishing data to Shelly Cloud or other cloud-based data collection and storage systems. This allows you to monitor power consumption even when you're away from home.
• Local Monitoring: Like the rest of the Shelly Wi-Fi line of devices Shelly EM Gen3 allows for local-only monitoring and automations. Access stored energy consumption records directly from the device UI. Automate locally with rules based on instantaneous power consumption or energy consumed over a period of time.

  Wi-Fi Connected

  Shelly EM Gen3 can connect directly to any Wi-Fi network, with no HUB required, and can operate as an Access Point.

  Bluetooth

  Add devices quickly and easily to the Shelly Cloud app, using the Bluetooth connection. Use a Bluetooth proxy for other BLE devices.

• 

  Local Data Storage

  Data logs are stored on the device for up to 10 days in 1-minute intervals. When connected to the cloud, data logs are stored for 365 days.

  Dry Contact Switch

  Shelly EM Gen3 has an integrated 2A 230V 50/60Hz relay output for contactor control.

• 

  Dual Power Metering

  Shelly ЕМ Gen3 can monitor energy consumption in real-time of up to 2 circuits simultaneously (extra clamp sold separately).

• 

  Mobile App Control

  Monitor and control your appliances directly from your smartphone or tablet. You can manage Shelly EM Gen3 from the Shelly app, MQTT or Rest API.

• 

  Over-Consumption and Excess-Energy Protection

  Shelly EM Gen3 can automatically notify and/or switch off the circuit if consumption or energy reaches the preset limit.

  Embedded Web Server

  Turn on/off and monitor consumption directly from its interface without the need of any additional controller or hub, thanks to the embedded web server.

  Scripting

  Full scripting support, allowing for local control and advanced custom functionalities.
